Filter is great and does not leak. You must tighten the glass when the rubber seals get hot. Provided clamps not the best and kind of thin.

Well I was driving and then I wasn’t. The glass broke on the filter. It’s a fun idea but after some reflection I realize that mine probably broke due to going through a puddle of cold water hitting the glass. Then the glass fracturing as it does with extreme temp change.

The inlet and outlet of the filter were approximately 1/4 of the upper radiator hose diameter greatly reducing the flow of coolant. I installed a new radiator and wanted to make sure there was nothing in my system to contaminate the radiator. I guess my system was clean because the size of the filter mesh did not catch anything. The idea is good only if your system has larger particles to catch. Also, due to the flow reduction, you cannot leave it installed for regular use.
