These little trays might hold a single slice of sushi cut from a roll, but they certainly aren't strong enough to hold a proper sized piece of nigiri, and absolutely won't hold anything like an appetizer portion of poké. Unless you're serving cotton candy in these, they likely won't hold up. As it turns out, I'm going to be using them for a tasting menu event I'm catering for Valentine's Day, so I've had to come up with an alternative way to serve them, using a long, narrow wooden paddle to serve 3 trays at a time, with plenty of support. But the trays themselves split far too easily under even pretty minimal loads. I'm giving them 3 stars because they do look nice and fun, and even take pretty well to painting with food-safe colorings. But other than that, they're just a bit too fragile for any sort of real foodservice usage.

These are great for a sushi sampler night or a catering event. very small... could only fit one to two pieces of a roll or a single small nigiri. I love that they are natural and easily can be composted or just tossed without worry about the environment. 10/10!

These are great for passed appetizers - they DO NOT hold sauces well, be warned though.
