Just Scentsational Coyote Urine used widely by hunters, trappers and gardeners. Coyote urine is a great way to humanely trigger the "fight or flight" response in small nuisance animal pests. Quickly and effectively clear your yard and garden of unwanted small animals including rabbits, skunk, raccoons, squirrels, groundhogs, chipmunks and deer. Coyote scent is particularly frightening to many animals and scares them off quickly. Repeat the application every couple of weeks or after heavy rains. This product can also be used to "recharge" Just Scentsational Scentry Stones (sold separately).

The only reason I purchased this was to deter the many neighborhood cats from using my yard as their own personal litter box. I don't mind seeing opossums, raccoons, rabbits, etc., but they weren't deterred either. I have 24/7 security cameras surrounding my property so I see pretty much everything that comes through. One cat peed in my flower bed right on top of where I had used this product just hours before and another rolled around on the pavement and took an hour long siesta during the night almost on top of where I had put it at the foot of my driveway. Another thing I thought was odd is that there is only a slight ammonia smell to this product. I realize cats have a better sense of smell than humans but they didn't even linger over the places I had put it, showed absolutely no interest. Very disappointed and I truly wonder if this product even contains actual coyote urine.

Aside from the usual jokes about how do they harvest this stuff, I had to open the bottle to pour because the sprayer did not work. When I poured some where I thought the critters were coming in the back yard I almost lost my cookies !!! The scent was still with me when I went back in the house. I'm going to haveto find out what the problem was with the spray mechanism. I can't imagine small animals like a rabbit or skunk not being deterred from paying attention to this scent.

I used this in cotton balls in a old medicine container and placed in the path a racoon was using to get into my attic. Within a few minutes I could here it scrambling out of the attic and leaving. Since there was a family that lived there last year, I do have to keep using it as the others come around wanting to back to their original home.Works better than the Male Racoon Scent I used. My only problem now is I need to find out what I can use to get rid of the Coyote's this scent brings to the area. Saw a few on my security cameras since using. And no, I did not give 5 stars for flavor, not gonna taste test this. But DO NOT open inside the house, just saying it is strong.

So we had a raccoon take up residence in our crawl space last year. She tore up one of the wire entrance covers and took over. We think she planned to have her babies in there. We called a professional and it cost us BIG BUCKS to have them inspect the crawl space (making sure no babies were there) then they put “predator”scent on cotton balls and threw them inside… then they filled the entrances with packing paper, so they could see if they were disturbed and waited a couple of weeks. Our security camera picked up on her coming back in the middle of the night, and you could see she was alerted when she got to the entrance. She got up on her back legs and started looking around….(she had been just moseying in and out when she would come & go). Eventually she did go into the crawl space but within a minute or so she FLEW out of the crawl space and we never saw her again. They came back out and repaired the entrance and things were fine… until this year, another one was caught on camera in our back yard with intent. We could see there was no break in the wiring and no sounds coming from under the house so we bought this and sprayed near all the entrance points to the crawl. If she ever came back, it was out of camera view, and there has been no activity. Coincidence or the spray? I can’t say for sure, but it was worth the purchase.

Honestly, the smell is outrageous and I struggle with that, BUT it works super well. I got this to spray on my hostas around my house because our neighborhood bunnies think they're a tasty treat. Not anymore :) Within a few days my plants perked back up and are good as new again. Reapply after it rains, otherwise they will be back. The only downfall was that the cap wasn't tightly secured in the packaging. It was wrapped in a plastic bag, which was appreciated, but the urine leaked out and was not fun to clean up.

I purchased this because a family of raccoons has taken up residence in the crawl space under our home. I have tried all the remedies suggested on the internet - bleach, moth balls, cider vinegar with hot sauce (I used Ghost Pepper sauce), smoke bombs and sonic devices - but nothing worked, so as a last resort, I tried coyote urine. When the pee arrived, we followed suggestions: spread it haphazardly, using small plastic bottles with cotton balls soaked with the pee. When we checked the following morning, not only were the raccoons unaffected by the smell, one of them actually took one of the medicine bottles apart and pulled out the cotton. This happened 2 nights in a row.

Difficult to say that "I really love" coyote urine....cuz it's stinky. But I do love it because it kept some raccoons out of my freshly potted deck plants. I think fish was ground up into the potting soil, because something was attracting the raccoons to dig into the dirt. They were not interested in the plants. Nightly, the raccoons would dig up all of my plants out of the planters. So I started squirting a little bit of this coyote urine around the pots and the raccoons stopped digging! Gotta love coyotes for that! BTW, my cat did not seem to be bothered by the smell....which is a little concerning. :(( I have bird feeders near the plants and the smell did not affect the birds. I was careful to not use too much urine because I certainly did not want to smell it either. I applied it at night and the smell was not troublesome for me during the day. Generally, I did not use it again until after it rained. So I have plenty of urine left over for next year.

Bought to deter dogs urinating on shrubs. Works OK, not great.
