This Kaffe Permanent Coffee Filter duplicates the filter that was included with the original 5-cup Kaffe coffee machine. It does the job, can be cleaned easily, and can go into the dishwasher. I am giving it a three because at a $20 price point (the original machine was $23) I was expecting a better quality filter than the original. The filter works fine, I just think it's not the best value for your money. You might as well toss in another $3 and get a brand new machine.

I’ve been using the Kaffe permanent coffee filter every morning, and I love how solid and well-made it feels. The fine mesh is durable and heat-resistant, and it doesn’t bend or warp after repeated use. It fits perfectly in my 5-cup drip coffee maker (uses size 2 filters), and the conical shape helps everything brew evenly.Cleaning is super easy, I just rinse it under the tap or toss it in the dishwasher. I really like that I don’t have to deal with soggy paper filters anymore, and it feels great knowing I’m cutting down on waste. This little filter makes my daily coffee routine more eco-friendly and a lot less messy.

Makes very good coffee thanks to the fine mesh filter.I give it 4 stars because the thin folding handle comes off easily. But very good coffee.

I imagined this was the size of the basket in my coffee maker, but it’s a bit smaller, which is fine for what I need. It fits into most coffee mugs, which makes straining loose tea, etc. even easier.

So got this because I needed for more of this type of re useable coffee filter, below is the breakdown;Pro; seems to be good, reasonable quality, the right material, re useable, easy to clean, I normally just rinse over cold water/ warm running tap water, air dry, then once a week I will wash it with soft brush scrub with detergent, rinse under running cold water / warm water, air dry.Con; this filter is much smaller than I expected, see pic #2, I put it next to the other filter I use and most of the other one are actually bigger / much bigger, this filter is literally exactly the same size as pic #2 the right sided stainless steel small filter that I have. ( the 2 left one are those bigger filter ), the pic #1 & #3 is the filter I am reviewing / for this review.Conclusion; I can tell the quality itself is good, well made, smooth, no sharp edges,But the size…….Anyway, this filter is definitely enough for one to two cups of coffee, but I do not think it’s enough for five, I personally drink really strong coffee so I do put a lot of coffee powder into these kind of filter. But if you guys prefer light taste watery coffee, then this filter will be enough for sure.The reason not a five star; is because; again; the size.

A smidge smaller than I hoped but still enough to do the job. This filter is perfect for all mugs and even other useful needs around the kitchen, like steeping herbs! It's great. Sturdy, light, and sized right for regular mugs and cups.It even has a handy handle for lifting. I recommend this filter.

So stoked on this #2 reusable filter! Perfect fit for my smaller coffee maker. Easy to clean, but my assumption is it would likely start to stain if left in the coffee maker for several hours continuously day after day… only time would tell. It’s a great value for the amount of money it will save on disposable filters. Everyone who makes coffee regularly should have one of these, and thank goodness they thought of making one for the smaller, less common sized machines!
