We currently use a Mackie loud speaker that costs three times what this unit does and hook some microphonesnto the inputs but this honestly works really well. the tablet is really responsive for the price you don't need and external Cables or gain dials everything is inside the box which about the size of a small cooler. the microphones are good enough to keep you happy and while not very hefty they don't pick up anything weird and have pretty good directionality. The software is really what makes this worth it the karaoke software is really nice and thanks to the tablet you can follow along easily. The speaker gets loud enough and I never felt I need more volume but I only used this indoors. Overall it's a seriously impressive system that's surprisingly easy to use.

The Shell S3 is our second machine from Ikarao - we also have the S1. Both are fantastic and loads of fun. We’ve had a blast using the S1, but were looking for something a little lighter and even more portable. The S3 is perfect, such an easy size to take places and use on the go without sacrificing on functionality. Very easy to set up and use - 5 minutes and you’re good to go. And having the built in screen elevates both of them and is a game changer. Plus the build quality is top notch. Ikarao has such a great lineup of portable Karaoke machines. Highly recommend this brand and this machine! Looking forward to using it on the go…

Great little karaoke machine.Doesn't come with enough charging materials. Only one wire for the the Karaoke speaker and two microphones. I got it for my wife's birthday and she loves it.

This is a fun unit - it is our first karaoke machine and very versatile - great for families and entertaining. When hosting holiday meals, it can be challenging to come up with after dinner activities & this is ideal. We set it up for after our Easter dinner & our family and guests, adults & kids alike, had a great time & were really impressed.In terms of set up - it's simple. Once powered on, the unit guides through the set up from language to the wifi connection. The menu of options is intuitive. We started with the KaraFun app (the try it option). With this option, the song selection is limited and some are only 30 seconds without a subscription; however, the lyrics screen is colorful & the main and background vocal volume may each be controlled. Additionally, a QR code appears allowing guests to access the playlist on their phones. We also used the built-in YouTube app and searched our favorite songs as karaoke & it worked great!As for sound quality, it is even better than I'd hoped. On the set up menu, the bass feature may be activated and this made the audio sound even better - best around 70%-80%. volume.Although I picked this up for the karaoke feature, it can also be used as a bluetooth speaker & as a pa unit so it's a very versatile unit easy to take to a party or other event given its weight & size.Overall, this is great unit for those who host events (entertaining at home, business/marketing, etc.), or want to turn a rainy day at home into a concert experience for the entire family. It arrives in a nice box & would would be a wonderful family gift.

For such a small unit, this thing is a beast and really exceeded my expectations. I looked into Ikarao and it seems like they make, some of the best all-in-one karaoke machines on the market. It's a reputable brand that produces really high quality machines in a space flooded with cheap junk. This one may be their smallest, least expensive model, but it is no slouch. I took it to a friend's birthday, and everyone was totally blown away by how great it is. It has a terrific interface, with Karafun and YouTube built in, and everything just works really seamlessly. The mic quality is excellent--they look and feel solid, they sound fantastic, they connect without issue, they nest securely in their magnetic slots--in a word, premium. Because its so compact, I've just been popping it in my car when I go out with friends just in case the vibe is right for some impromptu karaoke.Only negatives I have: the mics need to charged separately from the main unit, and the the interface is a bit laggy. Still, for the money, and given how great the overall package is, I'm not bothered. But if these are concerns for you, I'd recommend going with one of Ikarao's more feature-rich models. There are tons of videos out there that go in depth on the whole lineup, and some of them look REALLY REALLY incredible.

It's got a simple design but packs a punch as far as the sound goes. It's got a nice equal balance of your highs your mids and the bass That can get loud enough to fill up a decent size room.The touch screen is easy to navigate through It allows you hook to Wi-Fi Bluetooth and there's couple of apps already on it if you're wanting to use them for karaoke to get lyrics that's an option.The microphones are just a solid as the system itself they pick up pretty well but like any microphone you want to sing directly into it and not off to the sides You might catch yourself starting to break up a little bit But they are decent microphones and well made and rechargeable.There's a cool little light display with it too if you're into light displays This one has one. The microphone store nicely in the system itself so they're safe and out of the way from being broken or maybe dropped or whatever so nice little storage area for them in the system.The sound quality is in my opinion rich and clean and clear and again it does get loud and you don't lose that that clarity as you turn up the volume You keep the quality even if you go louder with the sound with the volume.Overall I like as I said good sound quality it's a solid system well built the screen is touch screen and it's easy to navigate You can connect Wi-Fi Bluetooth to it It does come with an app or two on it for music it's not that heavy it's got the light display and I would definitely recommend it I think it's at a fair value.
