Kayak Canoe Anchor Trolley Kit Installation Instructions

Step 1：Install the Pad Eyes on Both Ends of the Kayak.the standard location for the pad eyes will be above the WATER LINE of the kayak, approximately 9-12 inches from the bow and stern.Once you have found a suitable location for the mounting pad eyes, mark the mounting holes,use a 3/8" drill bit to drill holes, install the rubber nuts, and then use M5x25mm screws to install the pad eyes.

Step 2：After install pad eyes,used the stainless steel karabiner to attach pulley to the pad eyes.

Step 3：Install the Center Pad Eyes.We recommend install pad eye 1/3 the distance from the rear and front of the kayak,make sure to angle the bottom of the pad eyes toward the center line of your boat that helps prevent the rope from sagging(Tilt angle about 45 degrees).

Step 4：Install the Zig Zag Cleat.Make sure the cleat is within easy reach from seat position, usually best located behind the seat (rather than beside it) to minimize interference between the cleat and your paddle,the length of the screws used for the zig zag cleat is M5x30mm.

Step 5：Trolley Line Installtion.First, tie one of the loose cord ends directly to rigging O ring.Pass the other end of the rope up through the pulley on the bow, across and through the pad eyes and down through the other pulley on the stem.Then tighten the rope and determine the optimal rope length for system tension, leaving enough extra for later adjustments just in case.Finally, trim off excess cord and singe ends with lighter or matches to prevent fraying.

The anchor trolly equipment is of good quality and works well. However, there are no instructions provided so a visit to youtube will be required in order to make sense of the parts.
