A little on the soft side. I'm an old fart so soft is good. Installed on a Chinese full size ATV because the shock (rear) that came with the bike was extremely stiff. This made a big difference. Minor modifications made to fit. Looks and feels of good quality. An adjusting tool would be helpful.
