The concept is good. My son really liked it BUT it is either not made well or easily breaks. The 1st order (new) - the flexible rod and the the clasp separated (turned out it was broken, the metal rod was not attached to the clasp). I returned & they reshipped immediately, but the 2nd order (also new) - the clasp screw top/cover was missing. So 1 of the clasp would not open/close properly. Disappointed I had to return. I wish it was better made.

I am a full time student, and take all my classes online. Reading and typing has been improved infinite amounts. Very sturdy, yet flexible and fits perfectly on my monitor with no hassle at all.

the Kensington Flex Clip was a good idea not realized. either that or I misread what the clip was capable of doing. it gave you the impression that you could clip one end to a flat monitor (or a CRT with an attachment that sticks on to the monitor) and clip the document/copy in the other clip for typing. the clip will not hold the copy upright in some positions as it becomes unstable if you bend the arm in some directions. it took a lot of trial and error to get it to work correctly. it was a good idea, but the present design needs to be improved. if you have room, buy an easel style copy holder. or this one if you are patient enough to fiddle with it until you can get it to work right.

It's the perfect copy holder. It's adjustable in so many different angles, it's not hard to put it exactly where you need it. And it's unobtrusive when not in use.

This Kensington Clip Copyholder does not work on my netbook. I was excited to open this up and use it as soon as I received it. The clips are very strong and I was a little worried that they would damage the edge of my screen but they didn't. I clipped it on and without even putting a piece of paper in it, it slid off my netbook. Great idea, terrible execution. I tried over and over again to clip it in different positions and it didn't work, it just kept sliding off. It comes with a clip to mount on your computer but I'm not willing to put that kind of thing on mine. I do not recommend this for netbooks, I cant speak for it's performance on other computer but other complaints seem to mirror mine. Returned for refund.

I was excited when I ordered it. But I was very disappointed when I used it. The clip will not stay on the laptop monitor when I load a piece of paper on the other clip. The laptop clip just slides off the laptop. I tried to adjust the holder so the paper would stand away from the monitor and the paper clip just sank down with the paper and pulled the other clip off the monitor. You can't even adjust the holder as shown in the example without the paper holder sliding down and the clip attached to the monitor slipping off the monitor. I certainly would not recommend this item to anyone and I feel I wasted my money on this item. I found a potato chip bag clip more efficient than this holder.

I tried everything, but this will not attach to my laptop without dropping off. The little attachment mount, refused to stick to the finish of my laptop cover. But maybe this was a blessing, I hated that I would have this mount permanently affixed to the cover...not visually pleasing. Now, it is something my niece can play with when she visits. A waste of money.

This clip is nice and compact. Very versatile, as it can hold a variety of items. Takes up no space on the computer table. The only problem is that the spring clips are very firm, and can break their plastic pieces if you let them snap shut, which is easy to do. I've had to replace the clip twice due to this. I bought a replacement nevertheless (and got another replaced under warranty), because the clip is very good in spite of this issue. The clip can easily be detached from the computer when you don't need it.
