Perfect replacement, with one caveat. The ribbon cable natural folds makes you think the connector goes into the ZIF socket one way, but it's just the opposite. With most keyboards, there is a blue side or an "up" label, but not on this one. I've been fixing computers for 30 years and this one fooled me. No big deal, compared the ribbon cable to the old (factory) cable which showed "up" on one side, realized I had it upside down, and all was fine. Worked great, great pride, 2 min install (assuming you plug it in correctly LOL). Would definitely purchase from this seller again!

Nearly 10 years old, my laptop really needed a new keyboard. My old one's i key had popped off years ago, and I just never got around to replacing it, I bought and used a new USB keyboard in front of it instead. Finally replaced it with this one, and after scouring the web for instructions on how to take apart an N4110, I successfully replaced the keyboard myself.The red colors of the Fn keys are much darker than the original that came with my laptop, but I have long since memorized the shortcuts, so it doesn't bother me. If you haven't, you might need a good light source to see the little icons.5/5 happy with this purchase.

After 10 years of use, the keyboard on my Dad's N5040 had gotten to the point where a few of the keys were not responding well and had to be pressed several times. This was particularly problematic when entering passwords. I looked around for a reasonably priced replacement, and found the SunMall keyboard. It fit the bill perfectly. Once installed, it is hard to tell the difference between this and the original. Works great, no more problematic keys.

Arrived promptly, (Prime standard free shipping)as pictured/described,install was easy,(granted I've replaced laptop keyboards before. most are fairly similar, just needed a small micro flat screwdriver for THIS particular Dell laptop I was fixing)works perfect (sofar) just as good as the original oem with no problems whatsoever.I would definately reccomend Sunmall for parts.

perfect replacement for my Dell Inspiron laptop. It's cheap in every way, the keys feel and sound clacky and hinky but it works just fine. Im happy. Install can be done by a monkey.

I got this item quickly. It was easy to install. Great replacement keyboard. The only problem I had with this item. I had to take it off do to a issue with my hard drive and it got tweaked.
