My 12 yr old granddaughter is in the "tween" stage now, altho she would say she is a TEEN! So no more "kiddish" outfits Grandma! Crop tops are the new thing, so I thought I'd be the awesome grandma & buy her some new in style tops. Thought this looked so cute....got it & altho it is cute, it is shorter than the regular crop top let me tell u. I bought a 10-13 size, she's 12 plus very petite. & it will still come up a good 3 inches above her belly button or more. So....now is the decision of do I send it back or add to it? She's definitely not wearing it like it is, for 1 her school (which is just a regular school) would not allow it even. I found this nice black stretch lace (4 inches wide) & think I will sew it a inch under so that will add 3 inches to the top. Still be crop but with a touch of crop meets lace, LOL!! Keeping my fingers crossed she still will like it.
