If you iron faux suede it gets shiny. This is so cute but it looks like it has been on the bottom of a teenager’s closet for a year. Super disappointed

First, the jacket is nice and substantial fabric. Fit was true-to-size. Color (rust red) was just what I expected. Because my midsection is larger, I can't overlap the front like in some of the pictures but since it doesn't close in the front I don't think that will be a problem. It does meet in the front. The only issues I had (and am trying to work through them because I really want to keep this jacket) were the creases from packaging and the loss of dye when washed the first time. I contacted the seller for suggestions about the creases, and the thing that worked was ironing it while it was damp on a medium setting. There are places where you can't iron it on the back side, so I used a pressing cloth. I don't expect it to crease with subsequent washes now that these are gone. As for the dye, be sure to wash this with like colors! I used a laundry bag as recommended, and it came out the same color as the jacket. The jacket did not seem to fade.
