These are my favorite brand of kneedable erasers. They're always soft so you don't have to "break them in" like you'd have to with other brands. Very moldable, the colors are nice, and they pick up graphite with ease.

Amazing item! Enjoy buying in bulk and will probably be back for more soon...using as a tool for older school age children to manipulate in classroom during learning time to remain engaged and focused- working like a charm so far!

got my first box about 2 or 3 years ago, from Amazon, now I am about to break into the new box. They take graphite off paper are easy to use and they are good exercise for old lady hands as well. They can last through a lot of drawing!!!

My daughter loved the erasers although they didn't come in the case they showed em in just a plastic wrap.

UPDATE:I re-ordered these as I had finally gone through the first order (see original review below). Unlike the first order, these came in a box with each eraser in an individual box. As noted below, they may have tried to save on shipping by using a general mail envelope instead of a box.I stand by me original review - these are softer than standard gray kneadable erasers. They may feel a little sticky and super soft at first, but with use it firms up a bit and becomes less sticky. They pick up well and last for quite a while.ORIGINAL REVIEW (around 2017-2018)So I got these today and noticed they came in a mail sack instead of a box. So I opened the bag and all the erasers were there, six of each color: red, blue and yellow. But they weren't in the hard plastic cases as shown in the picture here. I know it's not noted in the item description but was remarked upon by another reviewer so figured they came that way. I'm guessing that the vendor wanted to save on postage and time by just getting rid of the extra packaging. Not fair, I really wanted those separate storage cases.So.... Aside from that, the erasers are larger than they seemed once I got it out and started kneading it. It is softer than the grey erasers that I've come across but I was still able to make a point with it. Granted I'm not applying a ton of pressure. It gave a clean erase without leaving any residue or pencil lines.Overall I'm satisfied with this product and would purchase again as well as recommend it. The three stars are for the missing packaging. Will contact vendor and change my rating accordingly.I noticed that after using one for a bit, breaking it in, that it became firmer. So don't worry, it doesn't retain any of the initial stickiness you may feel when opening a new one. They still remain soft so are good for people with arthritis or other such problems.EDIT: I had received one email from the company about the individual boxes that they are going to look into it, but nothing since.UPDATE 4/2/16: I never heard back from the seller about the cases. It doesn't affect the use of these so I'm not gonna worry about it and will change my rating to reflect the quality of the item alone.

I bought these because I heard kneadable erasers don't produce shavings. I'm a cartoonist, and the shavings around my desk computer are kind of icky. Once I got the erasers, I was practically singing with joy! They came so nicely packaged! And 18 of them! Wow! I just love Faber Castell! But get this... These erasers also solved a problem I had previously assumed unsolvable. Whenever I ink a page and then go to erase the pencil lines, the eraser typically causes the boldness of the ink to fade a bit. I figured all erasers do this. But these kneadable erasers from Faber Castell do not! Also, as others have said, the easier pliability is another huge plus. I'm very happy with this product! :o)

I originally bought a single one of these kneaded erasers and fell in love with them. They are softer than the gray erasers and consequently hold more and are easier to manipulate. In addition, they are nice to look at too. I teach watercolor classes and bought an entire box of them and my students love them as much as I do. Don't hesitate, buy them you won't be disappointed.
