This part was exactly what we needed as the old slide just wore out and broke at the joint. Had to google how to dismantle the bare from the posts that are on the wall. The brushed nickel always costs more that the chrome or other versions. The slide cost like $80, and I imagine the whole assembly cost less when it was installed back in the day. It's one of those purchases where you don't really have a choice, so they sorta gouge you.
