very good OEM replacement. Mounting holes line up exactly. had the old bolts not been rusted on, would have been a quick 10 minute replacement. These replaced the original equipment shocks and after 14 years of year round driving, upper mounting bolts needed some extra persuasion to release.Resulting ride is smooth and the gas charge definitely helps minimize body roll and sway. It won't fix bad springs but they will give a firmer ride than original shocks.

Just put them into an '11 Colorado, 4wd, yesterday. After driving for a while, I could def tell a big difference. Obviously, any brand new shock would have helped, but they don't feel overly tough or rough, and def provide a lot of support. So far, I would certainly want to use them again for medium to lighter heavy-duty usage.

After reading reviews on a couple different shock brands. KYB seemed to deliver the best balance of quality, price and performance. These replaced the rear two shocks on a 2004 Chevy Colorado. They fit perfectly. Made in Japan.

After installing the front KYB's on my 2007 Colorado, the ride quality was so much improved that I bought and installed these rears. Great handling, smooth ride, what an improvement! You can't go wrong with these KYB shocks.

If you need shocks and struts for your vehicle, you can't go wrong with KYB. For trucks, I'm a KYB mono max customer. You wouldn't believe the difference in shocks with mono max's. Overall I'm a KYB shock/strut customer. I own a shop and that's pretty much all I install for customers. I'm not saying they are the cheapest nor the most expensive, but for a mass produced shock it is very good value. I have used their warranty and as long as you have a receipt. It works.
