The Gas-a-Just is available as an OE monotube replacement and as an OE twin-tube performance upgrade. The KYB Gas-a-Just has two separate working chambers: An air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for responsiveness & control, and a second high-pressure nitrogen gas area with a floating piston that provides a comfortable ride during normal driving and adds instant performance on demand.

Would be 5 stars but, they show up without the wire that would hold them in the compressed position. These are very stiff and hard to compress much less hold compressed while installing. May not be an issue on some cars but on a '99 Mitsubishi Montero Sport it's a big problem. Had to use an arbor press to hold them while I placed zip-ties from end to end to keep them collapsed during install and the zip-ties broke twice from the pressure. A 20 cent piece of coated wire would mean easier install, shorter (cheaper) packaging, and a solid 5 star review.

Ok so I have always bought KYB on all my cars they work wonders. I purchase this for a 1999 mitsubishi montero sport 2wd, and so far they are good. I felt the difference right away when I change them. The reason for the 4 starts is that they feel a bit bouncy, however, this only happens when i am driving in dirt at low speeds. If I am doing 40+ or in the HWY they feel great and no problem, even if you driven on pot holes... But I came to realize is not KYB fault. For some reason it doesn't matter what brand it is, if is KYB, Monrou or gabriel or any other brand... all rear shocks feel a bit bouncy. The reason I know this is because I also have another montero but its a 95 and I have use monrou and gabriel on it. Unless you buying the ORIGINALS which cost about 150 each or more from dealer, you will just have to get use to it.I need it something cheap and reliable and KYB has always been there and work wonders. If you looking for something harder or replace the true OEM feel, get the originals or heavy duty ones which cost about 150+ sometimes 200+.

Its soft, deftinly not made for a suv like listed by the seller. Also the eyelets are way too small for my suv, i also blame this on the seller. Just because a shock has a eyelet at the bottom and a nut and bolt top doesnt mean it will work for your veichle. is give it 0 stars but i dont have that option.
