I just got these risers and was able to install in less than 30 minutes. It was simple. You’ll need: towel, Allen wrench, and 2nd pair of hands, and LocTite.Drape the towel over your gas tank to protect your paint. Unscrew original bolts. Once you do this you may need to pull on the cables to give you odometer and cables more slack. You’ll want/need another person to hold the riser in place while you put the bars back on and secure the bolts. After that I took each bolt out and added LocTite and secured them in. Easier than I thought it would be. ‘22 Iron XL 883

Super easy to install with no modifications. You wouldn't think 2" would significantly improve comfort and handling, but it really does! Makes the Forty Eight a much more enjoyable ride without radically altering the looks.
