Upgraded to 33" wheels on my 2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ. Finally got around to swapping out the gear and this works perfectly! I even used my GPS to track my speed and it's very accurate.

lifted my 2006 jeep tj, and put 33X12.50 tires under it. of course the speedo was off. using a speedometer tire size/gear tooth chart, i found i needed a 25 tooth gear to be almost perfect. unfortunately, a 25 tooth gear wasn't available, so i went with this 26 tooth.gear swap is super quick, and easy. 13mm wench, remove sending unit clamp. pop it out, pull the gear from the housing, stick the new one in, and replace the o-ring. oil the o-ring, line the clamp up to position the sending unit at the same position it was in (numbers around the sending unit correspond to gear size, so position the clamp to center on the number closest to 25)buttoned it back up, and went for a ride. i have a speedometer app on my phone, so i opened it, and ran it while running through the gears, up to 80 mph. speedo was dead-on, up to 70 mph, and was off just one mph at 80. for half the price of the other gears on amazon, i'm calling this one a win. a 10 minute swap fixed a speedo that was off by about 10 mph at 50 mph before the gear swap.

Got this for our 1997 jeep TJ Wrangler (26 tooth) to help correct the speedometer readout, This jeep had a Higher gear ⚙️ ratio than we thought ANYBODY Made, a 3.07. AND a previous owner had put 33x12.5x15 inch tires on it, since they were New they were staying… Leaving this gear change to do. It works great so far, IF something pops up later I think you should know I will EDIT this post. We have driven with this now a few hundred miles on all different type roads nd compared with the GPS it is Right On the money and working FINE..1!! 😎👍👌
