Really for the price you couldn’t buy two high quality u-joints and pay for your time to change them out. And since the u-joints are staked you’ll be forking with it for some time. And now I have the old driveshaft so if I go through the exercise of cutting the old u-joints off and installing new ones I can take my time and have a good spare.

Installed on my 2005 BMW X3 e83 model. Easy install. The only problem was there is a flange on the back that rubs against the shaft. That flange is used during assembly only and serves no other purpose. Simply cut that flange off like butter to a saws all.
