had everything in one kit I needed to shorten the timing chain on my cousins 1997 c230 a couple links and put it back together I suggest learning how to use the tool before trying it out without any knowledge of how to use it maybe watch some how-to videos online to get familiar with it first. Great tool to have in my back pocket for the next Mercedes timing chain job that will come in. I would recommend every German auto shop or mechanic to pick one of these up at some point.

One of those tools where when you need it - nothing else will do, and you'll be glad you paid the money instead of screwing around with some makeshift solution. I've only used it once, but it made the experience a pleasant one, instead of curse filled frustration.
