Used these on a 2008 Explorer. Lots of vehicles use 921 reverse lights, just saying, it's kind of a standard thing. So if you want to get more value out of your reverse lighting dollars, get some LED lights. They are brighter, they come on quicker, and they get better attention than regular bulbs. It's tough to tell in daytime pictures, but these are about twice as bright as the stock bulbs, if not a little more than that. They are a little longer (about 3/8 inch give or take) and about the same thickness as a stock 921 halogen bulb, but they do work very well. You may have to test them before putting your light assemblies back together, because they are polarity sensitive, so do it the safe way and chock your wheels, set your parking brake, turn ignition on but do not start the engine, and put it in reverse to walk back and check to see both are lit. If one or neither is lit, take it out, flip it 180 degrees, and try again.I like the shade of white these come on as, because they match with my LED license plate lights and puddle lights and everything else. You can see the color temperature difference in the far away picture. The LED is in the left taillight, the stock bulb is in the right. I have not experienced any flashing, but I do note that these are absolutely "instant-on" style LED bulbs and seeing them reflected in retail storefronts for example, they do come right on, significantly quicker than stock halogen bulbs. If these are anything like other LED bulbs I have used recently and in past vehicles, I expect them to outlive the vehicle, not necessarily because they can last a long time but because I don't keep vehicles a long time. Catch and release, as they say.Enjoy checking out the enclosed photos of my broken taillight lens containing the LED bulb because I'm not spending money to replace it unless it starts taking on water. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If it IS broke and still works, don't fix it, either.

These LED reverse backup lights are fantastic for my 4Runner. They fit perfectly and were easy to install. The brightness is significantly better than the original lights I had. I believe these lights are a must-have for any vehicle. They are extremely bright, energy-efficient, and reasonably priced for the quality you receive.

These are extremely bright, I can see much better when backing up at night. They didn't trigger any canbus issues and so far they work great. Fitment was about the same as an incandescent OEM bulb. Overall I can recommend this product

These led reverse backup light bulbs are much brighter than my factory bulbs. It is a noticeable difference. The only reason I didn't give a five star rating, is because I noticed the bulb housing gets pretty hot to the touch. I have a concern that if it's too hot, it may affect the life of the bulb or even the receptacle for the bulb.

Installed these on my 2023 4Runner TRD and they are probably about 3x brighter than the OEM. Included a pic where the driver side is this LED bulb and the passenger is the OEM. It is during the daytime but you can still see a huge difference. Overall they are amazing and I would totally recommend this as an upgrade to anyone's vehicle. For installation you need some type of plastic pry tool to pop off a cover on the inside of the vehicle and then it is a simple twist of the bulb connector and you have access to the bulb. Do be aware that they are polarity sensitive so you may have to flip it around if it doesn't work at first. It helps to have another person who can verify that it is working while you put the vehicle in reverse. Also this bulb is quite a bit bigger than the OEM so you have to bit a little careful pulling on the wires trying to get it to fit back in place, not difficult just a little of extra care. Total job took about 10 minutes, most of which was starting the vehicle and checking to see if they are working.

I picked these up to try on our new 2024 Subaru Forester Wilderness, and I'm super pleased with the results. I decided to give these a shot after good experiences with Lasfit LED bulb retrofits in projector headlights (7+ months in operation with no issues).Installation on that car is super easy: on the trunk lid, there are two plastic access panels, which I was able to remove with a trim tool. Then, it was simply a matter of unscrewing the socket and replacing the bulb.I am very impressed with the performance and maintained output. While these do get hot, they do appear to have sufficient heat-sinking to keep them cool during extended operation. While this bulb is designed for intermittent use--and is not designed to operate in an enclosed housing indefinitely--you shouldn't run into any issues with thermal throttling given that reverse bulbs are on for relatively short amounts of time.Overall, highly recommended!
