Have another just like this. Is 17+ years old and still works. Hope this lasts half that long. Lasko makes some good products.

It works ok, a little noisy and I am somewhat disappointed with the quality for the price. No problem putting it together but it feels flimsy and shaky.

I bought the 20 IN. Oscillating pedestal fan, the one with five blades. Very efficient and quiet. It was fairly easy to install and lightweight. I like the idea that it’s lightweight because I can move it around with one hand. I bought a different brand three days ago, paid $100 and I can barely even lift it plus it was horrible trying to put it together. I’m taking it back to Lowe’s. It could literally blow the wig right off someone's head and sounds like a helicopter taking off. You can’t even have a conversation in the room or hear your TV.This Lasko fan is everything you would need for indoor ease and comfort and the price was very reasonable, one half the cost of the other one, no remote, didn’t want one. Perfect buy. Totally recommend it.

It’s a cheap, no frills plastic fan but it gets the job done. The fan was easy to assemble even though the instructions weren’t very detailed. It does not have a remote control or anything fancy. The level 3 speed is pretty strong and it does make a good amount of noise. It does have a very slight wobble, but that could be because I didn’t tighten the blade housing enough.My home office is in an upstairs bedroom of an old house with no ceiling fan, so this is just what I needed to get some air circulation during warmer months.

I should have bought this years ago. My floor fan simply wasn’t cutting it. Having a raised fan is a game changer! However, in the middle of the night, the blade fell off what was caught by the cage. Apparently I did not screw down the cap enough. Other than that, I could not sleep without it.

Muy facil de armar, en menos de 10 minutos.Tengo un Taurus Silent Power tambien de 18 pulgadas y nada que ver uno con el otro. El Lasko gana por mucho, tira mucho mas aire, muchisimo mas ligero al cargar y se siente hasta mas fresco el aire que tira. El Taurus tira poco aire y es ruidoso, sin contar con lo pesado que es.

The packaging looked suspicious (engine wrapped hastily with plastic and then secured with elastic bands at top, loose pieces of paper).While assembling, noticed dirt on the fan. There are other signs of it being outside the packaging like little brown spots but its hard to capture on camera because its white and worn plastic (pictures).Fan is strong but very loud. Maybe a new fan is quieter. Will update if I get any support..EDIT: Lakso support was very prompt with their response. They say that they sent a replacement out. Will update once received.EDIT: Got a replacement fan. Thanks Lakso

Good size fan. And good speed. Selection. Easy to install. And moves. Good amount of. Air. Fairly quiet. No fan can be quiet. It's just the nature of the beast. Even if the motor is the quietest motor in the world. The blades make the noise, not the motor.

Although it took a little longer to arrive than originally expected, it was well worth the wait! Bought one for my son and daughter in-law. She assured me it cooled their hot home immediately, so when the latest hot spell killed my old pedestal fan, I bought two of these 18 inch for our bedrooms and yes, during the severe heat of the prairies this year, they brought relief by cooling the rooms right away. Plenty of power! 18 inch is a wonderful size! Assembly was mostly easy. I gave 4 out of 5 because adding the front grill was a little confusing. I wasn't sure if it was on, but apparently it was. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend this fan to anyone!

Time will tell with this product. Looks cheaply made with flimsy plastic. But hey, it does what its required to do. Surprised at low fan setting. High setting, i can fly a homemade plane with a couple of these. Also will drown out sex noises in the bedroom. So its not quiet. The only design change would be to add a handle at the top. Yeah, yous can do it. Step to it, then.
