I ordered this to replace factory bulb for my air purifier. First bulb did not work. When I tried to remove the bulb it was difficult to remove. The bulb base has a tab on either side that snaps into the socket. Tabs on original had a smooth rounded tip. The new bulbs had a sharp edge on them. Once I finally got it out I used a fingernail file to round the sharp edge and reduce size of tab and it pulls out easier.First bulb still would not work but 2nd bulb worked and is still running.I would probably pay a little more for a different brand next time.
