This light is pretty dim unless the lights are either down low or off. You would not see this if mounted in an industrial setting and it was daylight outside.The light has several (red, in my model) small led's. Running at 12 volts dc (the specified voltage) it draws just under 40 ma.This would be ok in a dim setting, maybe as decoration in a bar or some such. Forget about it for anything else.

Solid light but not as bright as I had hoped to replace my old bulb light with. I use it at the edge of a fence line to ensure it can be seen at night. It does OK but just doesn't feel as bright as I was expecting, about the same as my bulb light. Hopefully it makes up for it by lasting a long time.
