Pull old cap straight up to remove. Align the recess in the bottom of the new trackstick cap to the pointing stick post and press down firmly.

There are other Sellers on Amazon that offer a similar product, in larger quantities, that appear to be a better value. However, as a former Quality Assurance Engineer, I could see mold flash ( small amounts of material that has squeezed out between the two halves of the mold ) in the photos for those items, which indicates that either the molds have NOT been properly maintained, or the tooling was of poor quality to begin with.Consequently, I ordered these instead. These appear to be well-made and installed as expected. I would have given them a 4.5 rating if I could have -- I seldom award all 5 stars as everything can be improved -- but decided to round down due to the first picture showing 3 items, which is a bit misleading. The headline and details below do clearly state 2 items, but I still think the photo should reflect that.I do recommend these as a replacement on Dell laptops.

I bought the all black version because I didn't really want the blue accent of the other one. The original trackpoint for Dell Latitude 7490 is slightly larger, so this one leaves more space from the keys. But it still fits and works ok. I like that it's more discrete.However, if you use the trackpoint often, maybe choose the other one, because the smaller surface gives a little less precise control.

Keine Probleme bei der Montage an einem DELL E6520.Ich setze öfter ältere Laptops instand und bin sehr zufrieden mit der Qualität.Leider kam das Paket aus dem fernen Osten und daher dauerte der Versand etwas länger. Positiv ist aber anzumerken, dass der Händler trotz der kleinen Paketgröße eine Trackingnummer mitliefert.Produkt zu 100% wie angegeben.
