they are one time use because it comes apart when you remove the roller cover after done painting but cheaply priced

It’s great having these rollers there lightweight and they spin very easy. They attach to my extension pole easily and stay in place. He roller covers slide on like they should and stay in place. They work out great

I'm a house painter and usually don't use wire type rollers. But lately it seems like the more expensive plastic fin type rollers aren't lasting like they use to. It seems like I only get ten to twelve uses before the roller pops off while trying to bang off the sleeve. I also tend to wrap my wet rollers in plastic in case I need them for touch ups or to clean later and end up leaving them in my truck too long and they dry out or freeze. I was sitting at my desk contemplating whether I should go clean a couple rollers or wait until morning when I saw this listing. I did some quick math and came up with $1.61 apiece. The roller frames I usually use cost around $15.00. As cheap as these are they are practically disposable. I don't know why they are listed as 5 wire but there are only 4 wires and the handle through the center. I used one today and it threaded right on to my expandable pole and the sleeve didn't walk off the frame while rolling. At this price I won't be as angry with myself or spend any time trying to cut the dried up sleeve off.
