Solid leather strap. Very lightweight, almost too light. Purchased another one, but keeping this as a backup.

Had a couple of these, and my Inglewood River guitar needs a smaller slash slimmer strap (10mm width) for comfort and not swamp the instrument. This well made option has a natty adjustment design and no clunky metal buckle to get in the way, or mark the guitar. Worth the extra cash and will last ages.

The image in the listing makes the strap look like the leather is soft and supple, but it is coarse with a run of the mill appearance.

Cheaply made with unfinished edges. Overpriced for what it was.n

I like this strap because it’s small enough to fit easily in the case. But the main thing is that I can take it on and off the strap pegs without a struggle.

I'm using this with a traveler guitar and I chose this because of it's size and because there are no metal or hard plastic pieces that could scratch the guitar. This is a perfect fit and a great design.

This strap is way too short, even fully extended, for any strap arrangement on a mandolin unless you are a very tiny person or like playing your mando on your upper chest. The only uses for it that I can think of is if you play with your strap only off of your right shoulder (like John Reischman) and/or to attach a cord to one end to use with an F style scroll or a longer cord to attach around the peghead, but then there are better options for either of those.Nicely made and comfortable otherwise.

I'm very happy with this purchase. One thing, though:I'm a somewhat big guy (6' 1", 210 lb), and I had to extend the strap all the way. It works for me, but it's something to think about.

I have bought two of these, at separate times, a dark brown one for an Ibanez A-style mandolin and a second one in walnut to go with a mandolin I'm building. The strap comes with a lace to allow it to be tied either at the headstock or around the neck at the body on A-style Mandolins or if you have buttons on both ends, the lace can be left off. For me the strap is very comfortable, and is long enough as I am 5'6". Adjustment is fairly straight forward. Can be used on F-style mandolins. It is very soft and supple.

My shipment containing two straps arrived one day earlier than expected. I purchased two of the Levy's mandolin leather straps -- one burgundy, and one black. They are excellent, compact, unobtrusive, and adjustable. I like them very much and am pleased with the quality. It is worth mentioning that they last ... and last ... I have been using a similar one on my other mandolin since 2002 and it is still 100%.

This is a great little strap that was picked up for a homemade box mandolin. It's PERFECT as it doesn't overpower the rather small instrument and yet provides great support and comfort. I like is so much I've ordered one for my Goya mandolin! Great color and the consistantly excellent Levy's quality make this a real winner. There's plenty of length for these smaller type instruments as they're usually held up higher on your torso, if your looking for a heavy metal strap this ain't it LOL. I have bought another it's that good.

This is a very nice strap. I've had it for about a week, and it works great; has not slipped once. I suspect that others who mentioned slipping didn't setup right, which I understand, there are not instructions. The strap is adjustable, and there is a section of the strap where there is double thickness of leather. This "double thickness" section slips through two small leather rings. When you have the strap adjusted to your desired length, slip one leather ring to each end of the double section, and gently adjust so that it fits snugly. Easy! To change the length, gently adjust the two leather rings away from the end... then, you can easily slide the long sections to get your desired length, and then secure as before. The strap is a nice weight, and is elegant... functional... I had a strap from another source that was nice, but it had a buckle which I new would damage my mando over time, so I stopped using it. This strap is great.
