I used these for a small LED card in an electrical unit in physics. These worked great and were a great price for as many as I needed.

Like the color changing pattern. Different from most Fast color changing LEDs. Sequences red into blue into green then the LEDs go into a quick flashing sequence. If you are looking to diffused the clear LED case just stick some into a piece of cardboard and give them a couple of coats of window frosting spray paint. Bam, now you have diffused LEDs (LED will turn opaque as paint dries).This method works on all clear body type LEDs.
