This part is the "Bomb!" Inexpensive, quick and easy to install... quick shipping... "HAPPY WIFE!"Terrible feeling having your $1000 dishwasher quit and just give you an "A5 -Error Code!" 6 days out of Warranty!Calling LG and having them ask you a couple of questions then referring you to local "Authorized" repair. After talking to them for 20 minutes... and them telling you it will be about $300 plus parts.. but will take 4 weeks..You pull the washer out and notice a gummed up part... try to clean it... realize you cant...Then calling the local go to guy who is an LG Guru... who has no idea what part you are talking about... or any LG part... speaks condescendingly about you and all those who try to fix things before he (the expert) gets there, and that it will cost extra... so about $400 plus parts, and have to order it...I ordered part. (Granted , wife was already looking ro replace never wanting LG again!)Part came...After disconnecting water and electric, it was one well thought-out twist seal, and a spring clip to remove old part and replace new one...I used some silicone lube, but maybe not necessary, Put the old one in...(up to about 15 minutes now.) reconnected water and electric... tested it (10 more minutes)Jumped up and down cheering (Did not time this) then resecured the washer to counter/cabinets.Everything fit perfectly... no mess... under 1/2 hour, and we were washing dishes again!This part is great. saved $300-$400 in labor plus tremendous mark up on part.Feel confident this part works... Dreaded "A5" code... gone in the wash!
