For some reason this part is the only plastic part on the knob of my LG stove. Somehow I bumped it funny and it broke! I searched LG’s website and parts guide for my model, which was pretty confusing. I found this part and bought it hoping it would be the right one. This was exactly what I was looking for and saved me a ton on a repairman.

Easy to replace, just lots of screws on the panel.

There are some differences among lg models so you may not find a YouTube specific to yours but this is still a simple job. Quite a few screws to remove but no more than 25 minutes from start to finish and your oven knob will be good as new.

No YOUTUBE videos, but I managed it and saved an Abt Appliance $185 service fee, plus their $100+ charge for the plastic replacement part! DON'T HAVE TO UNPLUG THE ELECTRIC - BUT BE CAREFUL.Remove the 2 side screws from the front, the burner holddown screws, and the screws holding the oven control piece of garbage, then the 4 screws underneath attaching to the stove itself. DO NOT REMOVE THE 2 SCREWS UNDER THE LED PANEL. Next, remove the 2 holdown screws under the grates, and replace the grates with a towel to lay the front panel on. Pull the front cover off and set it on the towel - the wiring will be long enough to to this. The LED panel and oven control sections are inside a metal cover - remove it. The small metal container on the right holds the oven control - replace the broken shaft piece, and put it against the front panel and screw in the holddown screws to attach it so it won't be loose. Replace the big metal cover over the LED circuit boards and the small box, and slide the front panel back onto the front of the stove, and place all the screws back in. DONE! ALL THAT WAS NEEDED IS A PHILLIPS SCREWDRIVER...AND NO FEAR!

Like so many things these days, an under-engineered piece of plastic broke, so here we are. This is pretty easy to put in, even if it means taking a couple of layers apart. Find yourself a video if you need to, but the whole face of the control panel has to come off, then you can get to the back of it. Maybe a 15-20 minute job, start to finish.

Super easy to replace, just a bunch of screws to remove. Don't even have to take that box apart, just unscrew from the panel and replace.

C'est exactement la pièce pour remplacer ce qui contrôle le bouton du four LG.

Works fine but it does not “click” like the original one did. Wish a metal one was available.
