Thought I'd save a few bucks and get this body. That was a mistake because it doesn't work with my surefire tailcap. Not that it didn't fit because it did but just doesn't work. After troubleshooting everything this body is the problem weather it be the threads, out of spec length, or whatever it just doesn't work. Ordered the weltool 18350 body and it works perfectly. Surefire cap, modbutton lite, malkof head. This body did work with a click cap but no go with remote cap.

An excellent way to turn an 18650 surefire duel fuel into an 18350. Now I just need to find a way to mount it to my retro AR pistol.

I have several of these, as well as several Arisaka and Modlite bodies. I find these to be equal to the other two. I run Modlite heads and SF Z68 tailcaps on all of them without issue.As someone else pointed out, these are for DF-pattern heads.

none of my compatible light heads would work. troubleshot every option, different tail caps, switches everything. I simply swapped the body with a surefire and modlite body and all combinations of light heads tail caps switches and batteries all of a sudden worked. I didn't think you could mess up an aluminum tube but zbolt did. Returned.

People give this body 1 star but it has nothing to do with the light body. The body is made for the KE2-DF head, not the M600U's KE2-B. KE2-DF head is bigger and needs a high drain, flat top 18350.

Used with a Modlite head and a Surefire tailcap, the fit and finish of this worked quite well. Attaching it to the mount took a little bit of force, but I'm not sure if that was due to bad thread pitch or the loctite already on the screws. I'm pretty satisfied with the purchase, though.

The threads are way to large in diameter as you can see in the picture I posted. It’s 26 percent bigger in diameter. Rear plug fit so I don’t know what this is for. Tried multiple SF mod and IR heads. I own a scout so I know this doesn’t work. Left is my scout body. Right is this product hopefully the maker wil reach out and explain.

Tailcap fit fine but the scout light head didn't fit at all. Don't buy if you have a scout light head.
