Perfect shade for oxy cutting, plasma cutting, etc I never noticed it fog up, it protects your face from all the sparks flying at you, seems like good quality I’ve had these shields for years just replace the shield and good to go for another while,

I bought shade 3 at first but then went to shade 5 for brazing. shade 5 is better.

This is a very nice shield. It allows you to change back and forth between cutting and grinding if you don't want to have 2 head pieces.
