This did not work out for me but it was my own fault. I did not pay close attention that this was only for the square taillights and I have the long rectangular ones. Nonetheless in closely checking this out I found it to be very well designed with a separate left mounting box from the one for the right side. The left side has a cut out for the license plate holder and the mounting holes are on the correct side for both boxes. They are made of strong steel and well coated with black paint and should be durable and protective of the taillights.

excellent for protecting your fragile trailer lights. I have replaced my light so many times since they hand out there waiting to be bumped and broken.. These protect the lights from this.

I was unable to mount this due to an incompatibility with my trailer. The mounting surface itself is recessed from the box, so flush mounting is impossible. Most trailer lights are mounted flush to a piece of metal, so I don't see this being useful for most people. Instructions do say it's weldable to your trailer, so if you're able to weld and fabricate, this might be convenient to save a little time. Thickness of the steel seems reasonable to protect the easily broken taillights on a trailer, but that's not helpful if you can't mount it.

If you're looking for something over built and extremely stout - look no further. These are made of heavy gauge steel with a very good finish coat. The brackets allow for rear/side mounting options. Dimensions are accurately marketed.Using these on a utility trailer and couldn't be happier.

A decent medium duty protector for your trailer lighting. Drill a few holes and install using the included hardware. Then add your lights. I say medium duty because they are thin sheetmetal. I wouldn't stand on them and expect them to not deform. For me, they work well enough to stop me from breaking the lenses when I back into something I didn't see (usually the tree in my yard). May have to modify your trailer a bit... mine needed the factory brackets removed before installation. Yours may vary. Good overall product, though. Recommend!!

I recently received the LINKITOM Square Trailer Tail Light Mounting Box & License Plate Bracket through the Vine program, and this is my initial impression and personal opinion. The product seems to be targeting those who need a sturdy and easy way to mount their trailer tail lights. The description emphasizes that it's a heavy-duty steel guard cover for trailers under 80', specifically mentioning boats, trucks, marine vehicles, campers, and RVs.My first impression is positive. The steel construction definitely feels solid and gives me confidence that it will protect the lights. The key selling point, in my opinion, is how it simplifies the installation process.Installing trailer lights easy, and based on my initial inspection, I believe that's accurate. It appears to be designed to make the lights look like they were factory installed, giving a clean and professional finish to the trailer. I haven't fully installed it yet, but the design seems intuitive, and I anticipate a straightforward mounting process.**In summary:** If you're looking for a robust and easy-to-use solution for mounting your trailer lights and license plate, the LINKITOM mounting box seems like a promising option. I'll update this review if I encounter any issues during or after installation. So far, I'm pleased with it.

These are perfect for (I’d say most) trailer lights! I like that there’s a cutout on the left one for my license plate to be illuminated. It comes with a solid plate mount too, but I didn’t use it since I have a good setup already. These are made really well and don’t look sloppy which matters to me. My previous light setup left them exposed and begging to get smashed! These also serve as the bracket to delete my previous ones as well..
