The RF receiver is capable of receiving on 57 wide and narrow band channels.The receiver has a SNR of 80 dB or greater. The device is able to be locked on a single channel. The receiver is capable of seeking channels. The unit incorporates a multi-functional LED that indicates power, channel lock, low battery, and battery charging. The device has a programmable squelch. The device has an audio frequency response of 50 Hz - 15 kHz (±3 dB) at 72 MHz. The device incorporates a stereo earphone jack that allows the user to plug in either a mono or stereo earphone(s). The device incorporates an LCD display that indicates channel, battery level, low battery, battery charging, RF signal strength and channel lock status. The device is able to enable commanding with the SQ function. The unit operates off of two (2) AA batteries; alkaline or NiMH. The receiver incorporates automatic battery charging circuitry for recharging of NiMH batteries. The device has a switchable option for the use of alkaline or NiMH batteries.

Our Church of 130 members uses the LR-400-072 receiver in our church sanctuary in conjunction with our Listen Devices Transmitter (LT-800) that is connected into our sound system. We let church members sign up for a receiver with a refundable deposit and they keep the receivers as long as they need them. We also have 2-3 units available at the welcoming table for any guests that could use them. The system is powerful enough - we are able to use a receiver in our nursery school in another building with a set of computer speakers so our teachers can hear the sermons while they watch over our toddlers. We bought most of the units several years ago and they have proven to be very reliable and very easy to use (even for the technically challenged). It is good to know units are readily available at Amazon with excellent pricing.
