I recently purchased the LongLongJin USB NES Controller 2-pack and have been quite pleased. The controllers go through without a hitch with my Raspberry Pi, running RetroPie, so hopping back into some classic NES games is pretty painless. The construction is generally good, with responsive buttons and a comfortable feel that closely emulates the original controllers. However, the 5.7-foot cable length is a bit too short for my setup, so maybe consider the need for a USB extension if you're looking to play from the couch. All things considered, it's really a nice option for retro game enthusiasts.

So, I needed to get the feel of an NES controller and my PS4 controller wasn't cutting it for that authentic and responsive feel. Upon buying the product, I was, hesitant at first, but eventually, I gave one of them a spin. MAN, I was impressed and it's working like a charm. For those with bigger hands, I would look for something a bit for the size, but for everyone else, make use of these bad boys!!!Good Product.

Welp, they work, that’s about all I can say that’s positive. These are terrible controllers. The D pad is just garbage. After about an hour of gameplay, the controller is essentially useless for certain games. When pressing left it also sometimes triggers up and vice versa. Playing punch out, when you press up to punch, he sometimes dodges left at the WORST moments. Playing Zelda, pressing right, Link will very often occasionally walk up for a second even walking into enemies sometimes. This controller is not going to let you get past those really hard action NES games. You just need the precision when timing is everything. I’m now investing in an adapter to use the original controller as I have no issues when playing on my NES with original hardware. This controller is fine for any RPG or turn based game like Final Fantasy or point and click games like Shadowgate so I gave it a 2 out of 5.
