I was a bit disappointed with this back rest when I first opened the package. The welds look so poor on it . . . very shoddy workmanship. But once I installed it on my bike, the welds were hardly visible so I felt a lot better about it. It fit well except for the plastic spacers at the front end where they slot into the mounts at the side of the fender . . . those were a bit loose and the mount rattled a bit so I ended up using the ones off my old sissy bar, and that worked perfectly. The back pad is OK but not great. The OEM version is nicer, but obviously a lot more expensive. Overall it's pretty good and I'm keeping it!

This is a nice looking back rest and doesn't look cheap. The paint is consistent and the pad is comfortable. Very simple to install. Fits my bike nicely.
