I’ve always loved the look of landscape lighting and was excited to try these out. The lights came with everything except landscaping wire and 2 aaa batteries for one of the remotes. There are charts you can find online to determine the size of wire needed but I landed on some 16/2 wire for my run. The included connectors were simple to use just make sure you terminate the wire to the landscape wire before connecting the lights. I found the twisting broke the wire from the lights if I connected them first.Once connected the lights were easy to control from the remote. One of the remotes work for addressing all the lights at once and the other is to only change a single light. I love the flexibility to have each light a different color. With lights that are close together I found blocking the light you don’t want to change with your body helped stop it from changing when using the near remote. The colors are nice and bright and the white is a soft white which my wife loves. One light easy lit up a column post with a nice spread to illuminate the whole thing from a short distance. Overall I was very impressed with the functionality, brightness and easy of installation with these lights.

These lights are decent lights and should work just fine, as long as you know what voltage to use. The instructions are severely lacking in regard to that. It appears they put the same instructions inside all their lights, despite them having very different installation methods. I am not sure if something was lost in translation or maybe they just didn't proofread or edit very well. The first step talks about the low-voltage lights not including wires or a transformer. Then it says you can just plug the high-voltage lights into a "US standard three hole socket." Finally, under "Specification," the instructions say voltage for these specific lights is 90-265V. I would consider 265V to be high-voltage, however, when they were tested using 110V, it blew the light. It should have been able to handle it if what the instructions said were true. Obviously that effects how these lights are installed and could cause severe issues if you're not prepared. For the price of these lights, I would hope the instructions would be more accurate and clear, especially when you're working with electricity.Besides that huge issue, these lights seem to be pretty good quality. They are pretty heavy, which to me is a good sign. They seem to be sealed up pretty well and should fair pretty well in outdoor environments. I like the quick connect feature, which should make installing them fairly straight forward as far as that area is concerned. It comes with 2 remotes, one for the lights as a whole and one for changing individual lights. You have to be within 19 inches to use that one, and within 59 feet to control all the lights together with the other one. The color options with these lights is nice, allowing you to have the option of having them be just white or change them to different colors depending on holidays or seasons. It's always nice to have versatility. If you have the knowledge necessary to figure out the proper voltage and everything else you would need to buy (wires, transformer) to get these lights set up, then they should work for you. I also think they would last quite a while once you do. But for the average person looking for outdoor landscape lights they can easily install themselves, these might not be the best choice. If the instructions were better and gave an accurate depiction of the correct voltage, this could have easily been a 5-star review. Unfortunately, companies have done everything they can to lower their costs of production. Now, rather than ensuring customers receive everything necessary (including information) and can use their products correctly and safely, they do the bare-minimum.

Easy to add to your low-voltage system, all you need to have is the power wire and transformer. The remotes control the functions of the lights and you get two (one short range, one long range). But if you space your lights out too much, the long range still will not hit all the lights.I like the quality of these lights, I’m sure that they will withstand the rain. These are accent lights, not ‘floods.’ Just be aware these are 10W up-lights and while they provide a fair amount of light, if you are trying to illuminate say a palm tree you will easily light the trunk, but depending on how hight the palms are, the canopy may not get a lot of light.Overall, I’m very pleased with these lights and they really transform a boring yard into a magical yard. The splash of color they add can really make a difference.👍 I can recommend these lights to others!

My photos brightness are a bit exaggerated by the phone but these are neat lights. I have reviewed another type of these and it's interesting the same remote works for both. So let me summarize here:Great to high light bushes and small plants, palms, etc. For medium 10-20 feet you may want 2 especially if they will be viewed from both sides. Would be ideal for lighting plants against a wall! It takes a good number of watts to light up a canopy, 5 or 10 just will barely light it. 2 lights on a medium size would though. You can sync them when the lights are close by, they really are just line of sight controllable, if you spread them beyond remote distance you'll have to walk around setting a mode (thus won't be in sync). BUT that's ok, it adds some variety i think to a larger landscape having different colors slightly timed different.Lots of options such as blink, fade (my choice), colors, brightness, etc all from the remote. Thus don't loose the remote.I have a different set that is 5 watts, i can't tell much difference in brightness with this one which is odd. But i can tell when you have a 20 watt light it's a HUGE difference.Build looks fine and waterproof. UV always makes my lights ugly or gets to the lenses before the lights fail, never had much problem with cheap or expensive lights i've had some 5 dollar cheap ones last ages thru hurricanes. These have been working fine thru irrigation and rains.I'm generally a white light purist but gotta admit these are fun (but again keep in mind 5-10 watts will only light up so much, not large tree's). But your neighbors, wife, kids will all love the rgb even if you're a white light purist like me.
