Precision engineered for transferring of non-corrosive, petroleum-based fluids of light to medium viscosity, such as heating oil, motor oil, transmission fluid, machine oils, lacquer thinner, anti-freeze, kerosene, or diesel fuel. The self-priming heavy-duty vanes allow better draw and smooth delivery of fluids. It fits 15–55-gallon drums with 2 inches bung, has a 40 inches zinc plated suction tube with a 1-1/4 inches inlet port and a 3/4 inches outlet port. I bought this to transfer fuel from a 54 gallon drum into cans. Stayed out fine then wear started on the inside and I was getting aluminum in my filter. It would started to bind after approx 2 drums. Took it apart and had a lot of wear and gouges from the aluminum. Wet sanded all the wear parts and would only last about 3-4 gallons and bind up again. Discharge pipe started leaking. Had to replace the seal on the shaft you rotate.Do not purchase. It’s junk.

worked great for a few uses. hose is of low quality, started leaking only after a few uses. no way to get replacement crank shaft seal..

I bought one of these originally for my portable 55 gallon fuel drums. The first pump sent to me worked the first 5 gallons of fuel dispensed then on the second attempt to use it a week later it turned over twice and locked up. It couldn't be turned either direction even with significant force. I sent it back and asked for a replacement unit assuming this wasn't typical. The replacement unit arrived without any delays and upon the first 3 turns to pump fuel it locked up and did the exact same thing. I've pulled the pump out and will be sending back for a refund. Either this is incredibly coincidental or this pump is absolute garbage!

I bought this to pump e85 out of my 55 gallon drum, had it for about 2 weeks and used it twice, after 2nd time of use the pump seized, contacted Amazon and they have sent me a replacement, enroute now, however the compatibility chart shows it is good for ethanol but after reading more on the instructions it says not compatible. Compatibility chart not accurate to product.
