There is not much to write about on these. These are violin clamps used only to repair a violin that has split down the middle. Usually the process requires you to remove the violin plate from the violin body and then use the clamps to push together the crack after gluing the crack to hold it shut. The build quality is pretty good. You would have to bend them to the shape of your violin when using them. They do the job required. They are made out of brass. The photo of them seem to be on a closed violin. But you really don’t use them like that. Because you need to remove the plate. Also, the only person that should use these should be a violin luthier. If you are a luthier, then you know what these are, and you know how to use them. If you are not a luthier, then please don’t attempt this on your own. This is probably one of the most advanced operations you would ever do to a broken violin. The procedures are pretty Advanced and you might want to go to a luthier anyway. They would probably have a set of these already.
