Description says one of the mode is strobe; however, it only flashes SOS. That's not called "strobing." A bit disappointed because I bought this specifically for the supposed strobing function. Otherwise, it is a very bright light.Update April 16, 2021: after using it for a few days, here are a few additional thoughts.1. For using on land, the barrel of the flashlight got very hot. After 10 min of use, it became uncomfortable to hold. Probably because of very bright light, but feels too warm for an efficient LED after only 10 minutes.2. The part you turn to open the battery compartment is too smooth. Impossible to loosen or tighten when wet (ie after diving or if you happen to have smooth hands). Some sort of ridges in the design would fix this problem. I had to wrap a rubber band around it to open / close the battery compartment.All in all, it is a very bright light. But too many cons for this price point and planning to return it.

came with 2 "O" rings. no instructions, not clear where they should go. I guessed but am not inclined to take the light underwater without instructions. I wasn't planning on taking it underewater but more thinking if I drpped it in the water it would survive. So maybe it will, maybe it won't.

If you are looking for a headlamp, this is the one that you want. It is comfortable, powerful, and reliable. I only charged it once and I used it for hours and it is still bright as can be. I have used it for shoveling snow at night as well as Bbq'ing in the dark. I forget I even have it on my head. I have gone through many of these types of headlamps. This is the best one yet and I have a feeling it is going to last for a very long time.

Get really bright for this type of product. But I would like it even better if the light range can be more broad. The beam is a bit narrow for what I like

Been fighting the cheap lights for years. The chargeable batterys last hours. I actually see games eyes in the field on the high light. Should have got this years ago.
