I used my chair for three high school football games (Go Brandeis!) under Friday night lights (or Thursday or Saturday) here in Texas. This chair is very comfy, saving my gluteus maximi from hours of contact with the aluminum bleachers. The pockets were handy for cell phones and keys, but way too small for drink containers. The shoulder straps are completely unnecessary, and get in the way. Whether the straps hang in front or in the back while you are enjoing the game, they create a trip hazard for other patrons who may be skootching along your row or the row behind you trying to get to a seat.Stadium security also looks at anything with two straps as a backpack, and you may be delayed at the gate or denied entry. I ended up cutting the straps off - the seat is small and light enough to just carry in-hand, and you lose none of the comfort. If you are carrying the seat for miles in a national park, you may want to keep the straps - otherwise, just snip 'em off.I highly recommend this seat (except for the straps!).

This chair seems to be well-built with excellent fit and finish, quality materials and stitching. Even the color scheme looks great. The rubber rails and the two underside safety hooks keep the chair firmly planted in place. I hope the rubber holds up over time, but it appears to be robust. It is comfortable to sit in for an extended period. The carry handle is perfect and the backpack straps are a nice backup, if you have a long walk into a venue and you want your hands free for other items. I haven’t seen straps like this on one of these chairs before, so it’s a useful and thoughtful inclusion. The flap that is below the seat is also a nice consideration, and one of the pockets is zippered so items can’t fall out. The water bottle slot can accommodate a regular-sized plastic water bottle, but that’s it, I wish it could handle a larger flask, but that’s a small nit, nothing worth deducting points over. The designers probably concluded if the pocket were larger, the regular-sized bottles would fall out? The other two provided open pockets are smaller, and I haven’t figured out what to do with them yet. One of the really great things about these types of seats is the lower back support delivered over the course of a multi-hour event. You really feel the difference at the end when you can stand right up and walk without your back and butt aching. Overall, this is a nicely-designed, well-constructed product that should last a long time, and is highly recommended!

A measurable difference in comfort over simple bleacher seating, this stadium seat provides more than just a comfortable place to sit. It offers the convenience of storage as well. The seat has two forms of carrying methods. You can wear it like a backpack to carry or you can carry it by a handle. It's light and easy to transport either way.The 2 inch thick seat provides ample cushion for sitting comfort. We had two folding seats from a local big box store with half the thickness of this seat. I'm very happy with the upgrade in cushion thickness over my existing seats. The bottom of the seat has a hook to keep you from sliding backwards on the bleachers, in cooperation with the foam rubber gasket material on the rails that compresses against the bleachers to help keep you from slipping. The combination makes it very stable in positioning once your weight is on it.The seat has multiple pockets to put your keys, mobile devices, and a drink. Plenty of storage for most items you may have on you for a couple hours at a game. We use it at high school sporting events and it does the job very well. Well worth the investment if you find yourself regularly watching your kids play sports.

I like a lot about this seat. First off it looks very nice with its black and blue colors (I got the blue one). It is also very easy to carry. Its light and has a convenient handle to use to carry it. I reduced my rating by one star because the other way to carry it is as a backpack via two wide straps. Its not that this is a bad way to carry it, it is because the straps are in the way of using the chair. They are sewn into the seat and do not move easily out of the way when using the seat. Perhaps if they detached from the seat and could be stowed away, but that is not the case. I don't wish to use the backpack method of carry anyway, so these straps are just extra straps in my way. I ended up actually cutting the straps off the chair....so the chair loses a star, but now it is a great chair. Its comfortable and adds that lower back support that is missing from bench seating. It has rubber rails that sit on the bench so it will not slide around, and has what I call a "safety" hook under the chair that prevents it from falling over backwards if you lean back too far. The chair also has a flap that hangs below the seat that has little pockets in it to store items. One of them is zippered and secure. Two of them are tiny and I am not sure what you would store there. The last is a water bottle "net" that would probably hold a smaller size plastic water bottle, but not anything larger than that. All in all it is a nice seat and overall I like it!
