I've used the straight M8 screw connectors and extension cables from Elecbee and found them to work very well. I recommend them.I cannot recommend this right angle connector as highly. It does mate with the other connectors, but not as deeply. It may cause you to think the screw has threaded when it has not.Or you may unwittingly unscrew the metal from the plastic body while screwing to the mate.Or unwanted torque may be applied to the pins or conductors. That is a problem with the whole series frankly as only the pins resist torque, no body or shell keying.It is too easy to cross thread the fine plastic to metal interface which then insufficiently seats the inner body against the shell, allowing the wire tail to become misclocked in relation to the pin code.Because the right angle connector has a larger diameter body, it uses a larger knurled metal screw which puts more stress on the smaller straight mate. That large screw does not have as much range of free movement in/out to aid initial mating.If the narrower body side portion of the metal part were turned down to a smaller diameter, some of these issues would be improved.

water tight connections are nice. the plastic body holds up well to being threaded with a metal body. mated with my m8 sensor well. the little numbers on it are kind of hard to see because it is so small. but, once wired up, worked great.
