This set of counter dice with play mat is a great set for MTG players.Design: This set comes with a rubber play mat, 48 counter dice, 3 d20 dice, and a dice bag. The playmat features artwork showing a dragon on the upper left and a reaper riding a nightmare on the lower right. While the artwork quality isn’t outstanding, it’s still decent. There are 4 sets of 12 dice with swirled color designs for the counter dice. There is a black/red set and purple/indigo set with the +1 through +6 values. The green/black and blue/violet sets feature the -1 through -6 values. Overall, the dice have fairly good contrast, making them easy to read. The 3 d20s are black, purple, and blue. The dice bag is black with gold upper lining, gold drawstrings, and a gold dragon pattern.Size: The playmat is 23" wide x 14" tall and 1/8" thick. The dice bag is 8.5" tall and 4.5" in diameter.Usage: The playmat has a noticeable rubber odor. This will likely diminish over time, but it's pretty strong when the product is new. The dice bag is very large and can easily hold all the dice with a lot of room to spare. It can probably hold well over 100 dice easily. The counter dice will work very well for decks that feature cards that create multiple +1/+1 or -1/-1 style counters.There are a couple of minor issues. The d20s are just regular dice, not spindown style dice where the numbers are sequentially arranged and which work better for tracking life totals. Since it's clear that these d20s are intended to track life totals, this seems like a bit of an oversight. The other issue I have is with the product page - the wording seems to imply there are multiple dice bags included. The title says "7 Pcs Drawstring" and further down it says "6 Drawstring Bags." However, the set only contains one bag. Based on the number of dice included and the size of the bag, it doesn't seem necessary to have more than one bag included, so it's not a problem, but this aspect of the product info is misleading.Final thoughts: I've played MTG for many years, but I never owned a play mat or counter dice until now. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this set. This is a fine set of dice and a play mat for MTG players and is priced very reasonably.

This is a really great kit! It comes with 48 - and + dice and 3 D20s and a playing mat! This is a great value. The dice and mat are well made and good quality, and the mat has well printed art on it. It’s a nice sized play mat too. A must have for a beginner and a nice addition to someone’s collection. This also makes a great gift.

We play MTG as a family and soon with friends and their kids. We have many creatures and counter spells so we needed more counters. We also needed more playmats. If you're looking for an all in one ancillary Magic solution and don't already have these pieces, this is a perfect solution. Each element is well produced. The pattern in the dice is pleasant to look at while not affecting the readability of the numbers, and you get plenty of each. The bag is more than large enough and no issues with the materials or the construction. The play mat's printing/resolution is clear and crisp even in the smoke portion on the bottom. THe edges are well stitched and the bottom grippy without being sticky. No concerns with any of the parts.

So I'm not too sure about the image on the playmat. Looks AI generated and doesn't make much sense. But the counter dice and bag are good. Again though, as I've said before, we need some counters that do +1/+0 and up and +0/+1 and up. These are becoming more common.

Great dice included (fan of the pink and blue) and the playmat is nice and big. The bag is garbage, but will do the job.

This combo set makes it easy to get all of your magic needs within one. The amount of times I needed dice is insane. And the little bag it comes with makes a difference.

This is a very eclectic mix of game hobby items, and kind of strange in a way but as a gamer, I find it awesome. First, there's three 20-sided dice, which are just dice; they're not super high quality but they're just fine - and who doesn't want more dice in their collection? Second, there's 48 d6s that have a +/- number on them. I use these to track modifiers in my board games which is nice considering some can get complicated. (For the record, I don't play MtG, but I have plenty of other uses for this stuff.) Third, a nice, large drawstring bag is included; it is nice quality and though I couldn't care less about the gold dragon embroidered on it, it's still good quality and looks nice too. And finally, there's a nice neoprene mat with fantasy art upon it (just art, no card spaces or anything like that), which is a thoughtful add-on. Overall, this is a great set for the price!
