Pretty much as described, the image is just a representative example. If you're more concerned about the exhaust looking like polished chrome, then I assume your vehicle is known to spend more time in the shop or on its roof than on the road. Once it's welded on you aren't going to see it 🤷♂️It's welded stainless with clean welds might I add and the pipe dimensions are 2.5" Inlet and 2.5" Outlet in my case (10768 Magnaflow PN) pretty happy with quality and appearance of it, definitely going to help make the dual exhaust work

Great product, quality built. As the other reviews stated it’s not as polished as in the picture but this is not and issue because it’s going to get welded underneath a car anyway.

Just got my Y Pipe in! First off, I’ve heard really great things about the performance of the actual part. In my experience, Magnaflow makes extremely high quality and durable parts. I previously ordered their mufflers. However, my main gripe with this is that it came in looking rusted, like how other people have said theirs has come in. It doesn’t look used, at least I don’t think, but it’s definitely not polished like the photo. Don’t let that deter you from a great piece though.

For the price this is a great solution over trying to make your own y pipe. The welds are really nice the piece is nice and straight the outlets are closer together then expected which is great for my application. Looks like a quality part, cant go wrong with this one

As stated by another buyer product is good, solid welds but far from pictured as bright and polishedHad to paint it with high temperature paint to make the pipe last longer for Canadian winters

It seems like a rather study piece that will more than do the job. I am rather dissatisfied with the picture in the description. It looks nothing like what I got and that seems like false advertising. I could have gotten one just as good for less but bought this because it looked better and when I got it it looked like crap compared to its picture!!!!

This piece of pipe was well made, and I decided I wanted a slightly different exhaust on my Chevy Silveraydo 4.8L V8. For a while I was just running one glaspack muffler and a resonator, yesterday as soon as this was delivered I bought extra pieces and some clamps (I didn't use them) and I welded two glaspacks and two resonators to this piece of Y pipe and welded it onto the pipe of my Silveraydo. I hung it up to the frame with some clamps and then it's welded into my exhaust pipe. Only complaint is that this pipe is 2.5" OD which is the exact same as my Silveraydo so I had to slide some pipe in and essentially flush weld it. Idle didn't change very much, but for overall sound and pushing exhaust in it works flawlessly. This thing and the glaspacks makes my truck roar! Loud pipes save lives and this was well worth the money.

Did the trick on my GTi Mk6. Deleted the muffler and needed a splitter. The muffler shop in west palm beach did a terrible job manufacturing a splitter. The one created by the muffler shop created a pressure area and that added a whooshing sound at full throttle. This one fixed that. Highly recommended. Well built and from a respectable company.

well i have a 2004 silverado with the 5.3v8 and had a single in dual out set up with a 10series flowmaster( single chamber).. the sound was good but the drone was unbearable and i like loud exhaust..so i cut out the muffler and replaced it with this to my dual pipes and added a piece of 3" straight pipe a few inches long to the single in side and WOW! not only is it cheaper but it sounds way better. no popping while driving and its just so deep sounds like a Hemi.. and it runs a lot better im thinking my cold air intake helps along with it and it just breathes way better but if your considering doing a muffler delete and using one of these do it it sounds awesome all of my buddies are jealous and they have flowmasters or glasspacks etc!

I coupled this Y-pipe with a pair of 2.5 inch Magnaflow stainless exhaust tips on my 2008 Colorado 4x4 with 3.7LI ran a dual pipe set-up just pass the rear wheel on the passenger side.This pipe was heavy, thick metal, well welded and overall looked like a quality piece. It was a breeze to weld up to the exhaust pipes.It was a purchase with no regrets. I recommend it!
