I have a magnetic wristband hardware holder, but I rarely use it because it feels bulky and makes my wrist sweat. This magnetic belt clip has been a much better alternative—not just because it’s more comfortable, but because the magnets are significantly stronger. I tested it with my heaviest tool, a 2lb solid metal hammer, and it held securely at my hip. Even while walking around, I never felt like it was at risk of falling off.The magnetic portion is rubberized, which gives it a high-quality feel and makes it easier to grab small attached pieces. It works well with jeans or belts, but I’ve been using it with athletic pants and shorts, and the clip still secures well over an elastic waistband.Since it's the same size and shape as some MagSafe mounts, I tested it to see if it could hold my S22 Ultra in a MagSafe phone case. For anyone else curious, it doesn’t work as a MagSafe belt mount. In fact, the magnets are so strong that they interfered with my phone’s connection to the built-in S Pen while it was in its compartment.Value: The current price of this magnetic belt clip tool holder is $8.99 USD, which falls within the average range. However, I found many seemingly identical clips for half the price.

Held a standard claw hammer well (though I wouldn't jump around with the hammer on the magnet). Holds smaller items even better; I use it mainly to pick up small hardware after I drop it.

This is a pretty simple, yet very useful, tool. The clip attaches to, and un-clips from, any belt very easily. The magnet is strong, but not too strong. It's able to hold all the tools I need it to hold, including my hammer, without the tool falling off. It was not able to hold my 4-pound engineers sledge hammer, so the magnet does have its limits. All of my tools stuck to the magnet well, and were easily removed. I did notice that the magnet can rotate with respect to the belt clip. So if your tool is a little off center, it might rotate a little. The magnet is a little over 2.5-inches in diameter, and it will hold as many tools as you can fit in that area without them falling off.

Very strong holding power. Will NOT hold a framing hammer but anything less heavy will be fine. Does NOT work at all with MagSafe. If you have a MagSafe phone case, do NOT buy this item.

Got for my friend to use at his punch operator job to hold onto mental files. he LOVES having this. It works great, and has stopped him from sliding the files into a pocket and ruining his uniform. Magnet is STRONG and holds on tight to the files he uses. VERY HAPPY.

This is a great product! It makes carrying and grabbing tools/ small items quick and easy. It's made of durable material and can truly hold a decent amount of weight. It's definitely worthy of purchasing.
