Great polisher! Use it often for metal polishing. Requires an additional spacer to utilize the airway wheels though

Very Happy: Use this for polishing stainless. My favorite feature is the motor speed control keeps the wheel turning at same speed no matter how hard I lean into it! Others fail at this and slow down with loads....

Es todo lo que se espera de Makita.Un producto con una calidad excelente, un poco pesado para mi gusto pero nada que no se pueda solucionar.Lo estoy usando en una restauracion de una Combi antigua y funciona fantastico.Muy recomendable.

Great tool. I ordered it 2 weeks before prime day and it was at a fair price. Checked pricing 2 days before prime day and the price was jacked up higher than I payed making it appear as if prime day was a great price when it went went back down. Nice try Amazon

Been using the makita rotary at work for decades, I know the 5 inch dual action polishers are becoming industry standard, but I still like this one, figured it was time to buy my own. The price was fair, it’s the pads and polishes that kill you.

The polisher is great so far. I like the soft start instead of the instant start of my grinder/ buffer. I also like the adjustable speed settings. Purchased to polish my wheels instead of doing it by hand. Definitely a time saver.

重たくてデカイですが、流石はマキタ。値段なりに良いと思います。もっとこのサイズのアタッチメントを出して欲しいです。

I use polishers for my sailboat 36' once a year. I can compare 3 machines. I have cheap one (~$70) for 2 years. I would give it one star - very, very unstable on low speed under load: first slows down, almost stops, next moment jumps to full speed, trying to recover, so disaster! If you do not want to damage your work or brain - do not buy cheap one.I was choosing between DWP849X and 9237C. Both are very good, same 1200W power. What is VERY important - they keep rpm at low speed under load. I tried turning on without load and then press it down, I tried press it down and then turn it on - same very good result, very stable. Now difference: Makita smaller and lighter. To work on a boat - big advantage.Dewalt - very good electronic control: if you push the switch slow - it accelerates slowly, fast - fast. If you work, lock the switch, and the cord unplugs (or a breaker switches) and somebody plugs it back, Dewalt will not turn on, you have to unlock the switch first - very good safety feature.Makita has unstable soft start (maybe only mine?).Dewalt is louder, more expensive. For myself I chosen Makita.
