The Mares Razor Fin Mounting Kit is designed to make blade assembly and replacement for your Razor freediving fins simple and efficient. This complete kit contains everything you need to assemble a single freediving fin, including a blade holder, fixing screws, and side rib holding clips. The installation process is intuitive: just align the blade, fasten the screws, and reposition the holding clips. Whether upgrading or maintaining your fins, this kit ensures a precise, secure fit, keeping your fins ready for action.
The kit contains the equipment needed to install 1 freediving fin:
- Blade holder part (1 lower piece and 1 upper insert);
- 2 self-tapping screws;
- 2 side rib holding clips.
Compatible with Mares blades and fins:
- Razor Pro (420401);
- Razor Pro Fin Blade - Black (420901);
- Razor Pro Fin Blade - Camo (420907);
- Razor (420402);

Dieses Produkt dient bekanntlich zur Fixierung des Flossenblattes bei Freediving-Flossen bzw. Flossen bei denen es möglich ist, die Flossen auszutauschen. Dabei ist zu beachten, dass es sich beider Footpocket um die Mares Razor Footpocket handelt.Am Produkt selber befindet sich kein Kunststoffgrat oder ähnliches. Für den Preis wirkt es recht gut verarbeitet und erfüllt seinen Zweck.Der Versand hat relativ lang gedauert, daher gibt es hier "nur" vier Sterne.

Il set per il fissaggio della pala è completo . Calzano perfettamente sulle pale e una volta avvitate non danno nessun problema sono ben salde . I due gancetti di plastica si staccano ogni tanto. Attenzione il kit è per una sola pala .

I have a very extensive experience with the Razor Carbon fins and this set. I did not buy it at Amazon because it is ridiculously overpriced here but I do have a few things to say because I make custom parts and modifications for fins and spearfishing equipment as a hobby. First of all be mentally prepared to lose the plastic clips immediately. It might not happen but be prepared. Thank Mares for a bad design. Secondly do not over-tighten the screw since the plastic sleeve that it goes into breaks easily. The thread on the screw is called a wood thread but I am not sure the identical stainless one can be obtained in North America separately from the kit. It cuts its own thread in the plastic. Probably any stainless wood screw of similar diameter can serve as a replacement.I completely modified this kit - I drilled out those sleeves and use a simple metal thread stainless crews with a rubber lining and a wing nut on the bottom of the fin. Here is the tip: replace the clips with a 19mm paper binder clips. You need to modify it a bit with Dremel or file since the width of the plastic clip that comes with the kit is 14-15mm. Once the paper binder clip rusts out - replace it with the new one. The 15mm one will work without mods but it will be weaker.
