This is a nice small power source. The power is steady and accurate, and the unit has some very nice weight to it. The only thing I did not care for was the +- markings are not color coded. I solved the problem by coloring them myself. All is good and I highly recommend this unit.

Yes power supply is a grate quality but was returned because on market right now many more different same quality mach more less price items. This guys still in past age and continues live because good brand name.

I am very impressed with this linear power supply. It is very quiet (after the initial 2 seconds fan burst when you turn it on), very stable, with excellent and bright display. You can recall and set memories for your favorite settings (3.3V, 5V, 9V, 12V, etc.). I like the fact that by default, when turned on, output is turned off. This allows me to set my required parameters and then a press of the Output button turns output on. This can help in not frying a circuit by mistake because of a previous setting. It has a settings menu where you can set various defaults.One improvement I would like to see in the future is for Matrix to color the sockets. In the current version all the sockets have the same color and an engraving by each socket, again the same color as the case, show +/-/Ground. I ended up sticking color "donuts" around each socket (red/black/green) to make it easier on the eyes. After I corresponded with Matrix, they were very quick to respond, they said that future version of this power supply will incorporate colored posts.For more detailed review check out EEVblog2's review online.
