Product is simple but works great and hasn’t failed yet! I’ve been using it daily for quite a long time now

I have this set up on my RO/DI system & it works GREAT! I attached it to a 32 gal trash bin as my reservoir & this shuts off the incoming water when the bin is full !

It is adjustable so that is good. It starts as normally closed and the opens when it floats. Easy to adjust to have it normally open and closes when it floats. Seems pretty solid overall. The negative to me is the way the water exits, it just kind of spills out where the float meets the valve. Not that big of a deal but a little awkward of a design. I will likely try a different float next time.

I'm utilizing this to fill up a tank with RO water on a periodic basis, and prevent it from overfilling prior to me shutting off the supply. I have not / don't intent to use it 24/7. I am wall mounting it on a vertical surface.Pros:* It's fairly cheap* I'm not sure I'd call it stout, but it's not flimsy* The float adjustment screw is metal, but doesn't react to a magnet - so seems to be stainless (which makes sense since this is salt water rated)* Adaptors work with 1/4" plastic waterline without issueCons:* Where it's secured to a wall/lid, the threads and retaining nut are more fine threaded. If you're putting enough pressure on the O-ring to create a water tight seal, I had the threads jump. It luckily didn't strip out, but doesn't seem to be able to take much torque.* I double-checked the description, and it does indicate this is a wall mount float. Based on the design, and the orientation it's shipped in, I'd argue this is intended for a ceiling/top mount application. When I mounted it, the float handing down below the mounting point caused the valve to remain closed, and lifting it opened the valve to let the water flow (exiting towards the bottom of the tank). I did flip the valve 180* and was able to adjust the float below the mounting point again to work as I expected... but the water flows straight out (horizontal) / sprays up a bit as it hits the armature. It works... but i'm pretty sure it's not the designed orientation.I haven't completely filled my tank yet to make sure the float is actually buoyant and shuts off when expected, but I'll update if it doesn't.

Works like a charm once you figure out how to mount it.
