This is a really cool set. I like the case it comes in and the grips themselves are huge. It stuck to my fridge and would definitely lift the fridge without fail. I have another fridge that has a slightly rounded surface and I couldn’t get it to stick to that, so it appears that the surface must be completely flat. Also smooth, as the side of that same fridge is flat but has a texture and I couldn’t get it to stick on that either. So as long as it’s smooth and flat this works really well and I’m really impressed with the ease of use and quality. Just a few presses of the pump and it’s suctioned on really well. The grips are huge and comfortable for my big hands.

The 8-inch size is ideal for lifting glass, tile, granite, and furniture with ease. The industrial-grade design, complete with a handle, ensures a secure grip and easy maneuverability. With a safe load capacity of 440 lbs (200 kg), these suction cups offer robust performance for demanding tasks. They are well-built and reliable, making them a great choice for both professional and DIY use. If you need powerful suction cups for heavy lifting, this set provides both strength and durability.

I used this MAXPOWER 8-inch glass suction cups to install a large glass shower door, and it made the job so much easier. The suction power was strong enough to hold the door securely while I maneuvered it into place, and the easy release feature made it simple to detach them once the door was set. The carrying case was a nice bonus, keeping the cups clean and ready for the next project.

These things work great. Very powerful section. Easy to pump up and use. Easy to store since it has a very nice case for each

I needed to move a fairly small but heavy piece of polished granite countertop and my similar pair of heavy duty suction cups is on loan to a friend for a few weeks at the other end of the state. This item came up, and (especially) since I will also be installing a large number of windows later this year or early next, I thought why not give these inexpensive Chinese "knock-offs" a chance as an addition to my kit.My other pair? My windows installer buddy paid about 5x as much (around $250 almost 15 years ago) before loaning them to me semi-permanently when he retired. The handles on those are metal. This item has plastic handles, but my strength is far more likely to give out before these heavy-duty handles crack from carrying something too weighty! For purposes of holding large, flat, smooth items, let me unequivocally state these are completely up to task -- as witnessed during the countertop move this afternoon. That slab is likely over 135 lbs and using these suction cups were integral in the move: easily getting it onto a dolly myself and then moving it from a vertical to horizontal position on sawhorses for further fabrication.I don't think it would be any trouble to move even larger, heavier items (with additional help, of course) -- especially since one tends to hold onto things underneath or at the edges once it is moving. Suction cups are really great for getting an initial hold -- although *sometimes* they are the only way to maintain a hold on something (such as when placing a window into a rough opening -- although at that point it is probably already mostly supported by the sill). [ The product claim is 440 lbs per cup and that seems credible. With repeated use at that weight the handles would *probably* fail at some point. ]Keep in mind it is important that your surface and the cups themselves bbe clean when using them or the suction will not be reliable.Anyway, the pumping action is easy and efficient (two thumb-pumps was all I needed to make it feel plenty secure!). I *am* a bit concerned that I can hear the spring click quite a bit toward the bottom of the pump's throw. This is on BOTH cups. I'm not yet sure whether this might indicate a potential durability problem, but it has not affected initial use. Also (unless I am missing something), there is no way to "lock out" the suction release button. I can imagine a newbie pressing that and losing a load at the worst possible moment. However, that would be user error. My only other niggles are:1) The pair comes in two separate storage cases. One larger box for a set of tools which is almost always used as a pair would be a welcome improvement for a future version of this tool set. Then they could be carried to and from the work-piece with one hand!2) As with many offshore products, the manual is written in the worst possible "English." If you have experience with basic tools, using these will not be a problem, however.
