Our koi pond has at least 40 large fish (by large, I mean 2 ft. long). It is a chore to find reasonably priced, good quality food made out of fish. These nuggets are perfectly sized (a little less than 1/4 inch), and well packaged. It is easy to pour 20 lbs into our Gamma bin by our back door, as compared to pouring out of a 40 lb bag for other foods. And there are hardly any crushed or powdered bits in the bags we received. Our fish are healthy and the water quality is still good, although I believe these nuggets get soft pretty fast. Very few of the nuggets end up in our skimmers because the fish are crazy for this food! Also, my cat likes it and stands by at feeding time to get her "cut".

My koi are 6-8 years old and I have tried different types of foods over the years, cheap, expensive, in between. This, Mazuri, by far, is the best. I only wish I could order it in smaller pellets instead of having to get a different brand for the fry and fingerlings, but the big adults love it, and have never been healthier!
